This commission was a residency at Experian uk offices in Nottingham. I worked with staff members on the theme of "the journey to work". I began to accompany people on their journeys to work and to take photographs based upon their observations along their route to work. For most people, the journey to work, whether on bicycle, on train or by car, is something of routine journey on which little time is spared for looking around at the surrounding landscape. I wanted to portray the notion of the "missed landscape", that which is experienced only on the peripherals of vision, as one is travelling. The resulting images from this commission are now in Experian's art collection. A limited edition of each print is also available.
